Check boxes

| Refers to an application option that can either be selected or deselected (or true/false, yes/no, etc.). |  Example |
Always use the term "check box" (two words, un-hyphenated). Always give the full label for the check box (even if this is more of a sentence than a field name).
Use "select" and "clear" when referring to actions for check boxes.
Examples:

| Choose Batch split. | Select the Batch split check box. |
| Deselect the Credit block option. | Clear the Credit block check box. |
| If the Automatic release checkbox is selected, deselect it. | Make sure that the Automatically release all created orders to transaction system check box is not selected. |
