Foreign words

Try to avoid including foreign words. This includes Latin. Only include a foreign word or phrase if you are absolutely sure that the entire target audience will understand it, and that there is no suitable English (native language) equivalent that could be used instead.
If you do include a foreign word or phrase, place it in italics. The exception to this is the titles of 'foreign' documents that are always referred to in their local language (that is, never translated).
