GuiXT

GuiXT is a tool that can be integrated into SAP to provide a way of customizing SAP screens that is much easier and faster than performing ABAP customizations. Using GuiXT it is possible to:

• Consolidate fields from several SAP screens onto single screen;
• Choose which fields to show or hide (native SAP does this by 'field group');
• Change field names;
• Provide additional information (such as documentation or tips) on screens.

GuiXT customizations are performed in GuiXT Designer, which features a drag-and-drop interface for positioning gui elements (fields and controls).

GuiXT scripts can be stored in SAP tables, which means that changes can be controlled using standard SAP security and transport controls.
