Internationalization
From TechWriter Wiki
Within technical writing, internationalization is the act of re-engineering a document so that it can be easily localized for use in any given target country or market.
Typically, internationalization involves separating the core information in the document from the information that varies by country/market. For example, a user guide for a product could be localized by moving all technical specifications to separate publications - one using metric measurements and one using imperial measurements.
