PENS

PENS is an acronym for Package Exchange Notificaton System. PENS is a specification for interoperability between Content Management Systems and LMSes. Using PENS, the Content Management System 'informs' the LMS when new content is ready for loading into the LMS, and the LMS automatically imports this content based on this notification.
