Question types: Fill In The Blank
From TechWriter Wiki
A 'fill in the blank' question is where a user is asked to enter (type if online, or write if hardcopy) a text in response to the question. Most commonly (for online tests) the answer is a one-word (or numeric) answer to facilitate ayutomatic marking. Longer answers may be possible, for example with written essays, but will typically require human intervention to mark.
Most online testing tools provide the capability to specify multiple 'correct' answers, to cater for cases where the user may (for example) use an alternate spelling, an abbreviation, or a plural, singular, or alternative stem word, or a different numeric format.
