Question types: Matching
From TechWriter Wiki
Matching is a common type of test item, where users are asked to match together pairs of information. As with Multiple Choice questions, this type of question works best with a reasonable number of possible answers, say at least five pairs to be matched.
Example 1: Matching Drag and Drop
Example 2: Matching Drop-Down
Note that in Articulate Quizmaker (from which this example was taken) it is only possible to create pairs to be matched - that is, every option on the drop-down must be used once and only once. Where the software allows it (or for paper-based questions) it may be useful to include more 'second halfs' on the drop-down than there are 'first halfs'.
