Localization
From TechWriter Wiki
Within technical writing, localization is the act of creating or adapting documentation for use in a specific country or market.
A simple example would be taking a document sourced in the United States and localizing it for Great Britain by changing the spelling from US-English to English-English ("color" to "colour", "organization" to "organisation", and so on). More extensive localization could involve rewriting a document to take account of cultural differences, local legal requirements, and so on.
