UPK

Acronym for Oracle UPK, from Oracle. OnDemand, from Global Knowledge was renamed to UPK when Oracle took over Global Knowledge, as the name conflicted with Oracle's existing e-Business Suite called On Demand.

Note that when Oracle re-launched OnDemand as UPK, they changed the version numbering. UPK 3.5.0 is effectively the same product as OnDemand 9.1.5 (with a few minor enhancements). Oracle refer to 'pre-Oracle versions' of OnDemand (effectively, version 8.7 and earlier) as "UPK 2.x".
